Managing Trustee

Mrs. Vidya Shetty has associated with the Trust since its inception. Closely following the footsteps of the Late I M Jayaram Shetty, she has vast experience in managing the affairs of the Trust with deep insight in to the policies and developmental activities since almost 15 years. She is presently the Managing Trustee and has been instrumental in creating and monitoring policies and programs of the Trust.

With vast knowledge of the rural society and its inherent problems and difficulties, she took initiative in providing scholarships to rural, meritorious students. As a keen observer of rural health scenario, she organized health checkup camps, blood donation camps among the rural populace.

She personally took up the responsibility of overseeing the college campus taking care to execute the works as per plan.

Welfare of the students and staff, promotion of the campus activities, social and educational programs in the campus has been her strengths which have become corner stones of the mega campus of MIT.
